Launching the history globe
The department's new website puts IB History topics on an interactive globe, with study notes one click away.
The history department has launched a new website. At its centre is an interactive globe: pick a year on the timeline, see the world’s borders as they were, and click a pin to open study notes for that IB History topic.
The notes are built for active study. Key quotations are highlighted and attributed, key terms open a card explaining their significance, and each topic ends with self-test questions.
The site will grow through the year as teachers add notes for more of the syllabus. Suggestions are welcome — speak to any history teacher.
